We put a skid on the forks and transport all the containers that the wife wants to overwinter to the basement door. Normally about 4 skids will do it. Ditto for the Canna lily tubers but they go into the snow bucket. Come spring her annual seedlings will get carried out on skids, then set on a coupla old flat trailers which get moved around while they "harden" off. (by then she will have 8 or 10 skids loaded, 4skids per trailer) We plant about 120' of Canna Lily beds each spring, then give away as many as possible. Each year we swear never again, come fall we will let them freeze.......hasn't happened yet
