Here's another one for you guys. This time we were mulching some overgrown Christmas trees on the side of a mountain in Eastern TN. It's steeper than it looks as I had the camera pointing up at a angle. We pushed a few boulders out of the way and they never stopped rolling. Thanks for the referral Dirtroad!

Possibly, I don't know. I would assume a pellet operation is similiar to a logging operation with a minium acres to come out. This was only about 2 acres.

Elizabethton is in Carter County. I was raised two Counties to the east. Doe Creek runs through that area and there is a beautiful park. Roan Mountain State Park is there. You were on Roan Mountain. You were working, and probably didn't have the chance to enjoy the area. We residents call parts of East Tennessee--God's Country--all the way from the Cherokee National Forest to the Great Smokies including Roan Mountain and Bays Mountain. Thanks for replying. Your part of North Carolina is beautiful also. Asheville and Gatlinburg are too commercialized though for my blood.

Creekbend, I bid on a grassy bald restoration project on Roan Mt. a couple years ago for the Forest Service.

Yep, we turned off of 321/19E just after crossing Doe Creek. Jenkins Hollow Rd.

After thinking about it, the Roan Mt. that I am talking about is in N.C. not T.N.

How come you didn't use the gyro ? Nice work tho.

We almost did, but decided not to because...When we visited the site we saw lots of large rocks around the perimeter and were concerned about tooth damage . Nothing was over 6" in diameter. And, it would mean we couldn't put the jeep on the trailer and would have to drive it instead (4 hour drive). All this meant we could be more profitable with just the T320.

Camera is a "project cam" by wingscapes. It works great for me other than being super sensitive to light. If you can get it in the shade and your work area in the light it gives the best results. You can set it to take 1-3 pictures at intervals ranging from 3 seconds to once daily. I use free software from avidmux to convert the pictures to video. Wingscapes BirdCam - Audubon BirdCam, Timelapse PlantCam and BirdCam 2.0.

Roan Mountain skirts both the Tennessee and North Carolina borders. The section I asked about and recognized was on the Tenn. side. Roam Mountain State Park is a Tennessee State Park located in Carter County Tennessee. Doe creek that runs through it is very beautiful and pristine. Watauga Lake, a TVA impoundment in Tennessee, borders the Tennessee side of Roan Mountain. I've fished it many times and when the rhododendrons are in bloom, they cast a beautiful reflection on the surface of the water.

Fish,

These videos are awesome and I just ordered one of those cameras. Should be excellent for the website (still in the works) but I can't think of a better way to show what the machines can do. Short video clips are impressive but this shows the whole story.

Very cool.
