john deere 750
Ok so I was having a heck of a time tryin to figure out how to hook up my joystick controller on my JD 1050 with jD fel. But I finally got it it was the pby plug missing an o ring. Now I haven稚 ran it much maybe a couple of hours since the fix. Well about a week or so ago I started bush hogging and notice that the bush hog when I tried to lift it up it wouldn稚 move neither would the front end loader so I cut the tractor off and look around and can稚 visually see anything. Crank it again and nothing I had to leave it in the field over night came back the next day and the bush hog would lift and so would the fel very slow on both of them but they lifted enough for me to bring it home. So today I went out and try to figure out was going on so I cranked the tractor and it did the same thing I could hear the pump so I let it run for a while went behind the house about 50 yards and bush hogged and when I went to raise the bush hog nothing again. I think it痴 only working when it痴 cold and once it gets hot it quits working. I知 at a lost please help. Thanks for all the input.

And I don’t heard the pump when I’m calling for it with the levers

Can you post a photo of how you attached hoses to tractor to supply oil for FEL valve? Did tractor come with scv?

I don’t think it has the scv D522A943-B1AA-41DB-BB9D-77939EE47E44.jpeg

Anyone have any advice? Really need to get my tractor going

Question.. did you have a reason to connect it this way, or was it by trial and error?
Sounds like some restriction isn't allowing the hyd. fluid to flow, thus heating the oil and then failing to work.
Puzzles me what the capped/plugged line is supposed to go to..
More pics of where these lines go to might help with answers.

Edit:
I see you had another thread going about the joystick problems a few months ago.. also pics there.

Were the March '18 problems resolved or is this a continuation of those problems? just wondering..

The problem got fixed. So I thought the loader and bush hog went up and down with no problem and I cut the pasture (15 acres) with no problem then didn’t use it for a couple of weeks maybe 2-3 went out and try to cut it and the bush hog wouldn’t raise up as I was trying to set the cut height. Neither would the loader.

I works somewhat when you first start up the tractor the loader and 3 point hitch are jumping as I’m raising them.then I’m assuming once it gets hot it quits working. I get nothing till it cools off what it seems like

the hydraulic reservoir should be cooling the fluid enough that you don't have this problem!.. is the fluid getting really hot?..

Not unbearable but you just don’t want to hold it for a long time . And that’s when everything quits working

My 2240 already had a loader when I bought it but, the old 2 lever valve was bad. I replaced it with a joystick type. It does not use the power beyond port and is setup closed center. The pressure line is teed into the hard line going to the lift box and rear remote. The out line is plumbed into the filter housing. I think it's a kit that be bought from JD.

That’s how it’s hooked up right now. This tractor had the old style 2 lever control and was replaced with a joystick. I feel like I’m still missing something. It’s driving me crazy.

So it didn't get fixed?

And the three point hitch worked before you added the loader? Does it have power steering? The plugged line shouldn't be plugged. Ill look and make a diagram tomorrow.

Am I right that I'm only seeing six lines going into the valve block? There should be seven: spool one +(2 lines) spool two = (2 lines) supple, return and power beyond.

The power beyond is the plug on the left side that you can’t really see. It’s plugged Up now.

Yes the 3 point hitched worked before and it doesn’t have power steering

I need to see how the lines are suppose to be hooked up to the joystick. And coming from where on the tractor

Got it. I have a 950 with a loader mounted valve like you have. It's at my widowed mothers ranchette, but depending on forgetfullmess, I'll make you a diagram of how mine is piped. I should be able to subtract the PS power divider from my diagram.

Do you have the factory service manual? If the answer is no, please PM me.
