Karl,

Where did you purchase your inner and outer door handle? and part numbers if you have them, Also can you take a pic of the inside of the cab on how you secure the right side window from opening? I am planning on some changes to my cab in the spring.

Thank You

Very nice Karl, you made much better time then I did on mine. Every right to be proud of it.

That's got to be the nicest home made cab I've seen.

Looks as close to factory as you can get.

I bought the handle and latch from the auto parts. The company selling these is Faucher.ca. I will post pics later, it's too dark when i get home to see something.
- Locking outer handle#670-1002
- Inner latch/handle # 692-2210 (left)
Personal i will be changing these this summer when i take the cab off, it will be more expensive, but work like on an OEM cab door.
The left window has a home-made L shaped handle, parts were back ordered and i needed to finish the cab. Will also change this during summer.

Thanks for all comments and advice guys, sure is nice and toasty in the cab, noise level is good, actually i thought it would be real loud, but it's not.

Very Nice Job!

You should have done 2 doors... You are gonna hate just getting in on one side ;)

I always get off the left side, cause my clothes usually end up getting caught in the joystick, but yes, i must confesse, it should have 2 doors:laughing: I plan on removing it this spring and do a few mods, things i didn't think of before.

Really a nice cab!
You should be proud of both the cab and yourself!

Thanks Roy,
i'm actually proud of the cab and the fact that i actually built it from top to bottom. Many hours involed but enjoyed every minute of it, and got a chance to tryout new tools:)

Hey Karl, FWIW, I never use the right door on my M5040 and have never missed having right hand door on the cab I built for my L3000DT.

Was interested in your comment about the sound level being bearable in your new cab. My L3000DT is very loud to the point I simply wear ear muffs with a built in radio.

Does your Kiota have sound deadening from the factory on the floor boards and cowl?

Anyway, congrats on a very nice job, was interesting following your build. Regards, Roy

LOL, ya we always do something we don't think at the moment. But glad you are going to do some Mods in the Spring, kinda late for now cause of snow. Overall though, you did an Exellent Job!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
