I received my hydraulic top link from CCM today. The hose ends and cylinder openings were not sealed when it arrived. Should I clean the hoses as I have read here in TBN before installing?

You could either blow them out with air, or pull a small lint free rag through the hose.

Good news- maybe mine are on the way- I placed an order- about a month ago- they were out of stock- then the weather slammed them - yikes!

If it doesn't look dirty, I'd put it together and not worry about it. You're gonna love that HTL.

My 'biggest' issue with my HTL is there's no place to 'hang it' since it's too big to fit in the one the manual top link does. Has anyone come up with a solution?

Since I use a iMatch QH, it's always connected-no floppy TL for me:D

I placed my order with Mark on the 18th of January and it shipped Monday the 8th of February. I know Mark said they were really busy getting ready for a farm show. I ordered the 21-32" along with the hoses.

I gave the hoses a blast of air right after I took them out the of the box. I was thinking about the post which mentioned using solvent to clean the hoses.

I agree. I just had to have the HTL after watching Rob's (3RRL) video and reading how everyone love theirs. It's taken me over four years of getting off the tractor to adjust the TL to see the benefit of having the hydraulic one.

Mike why not go buy a length of 3/16" rod and bend a larger replacement TL hanger. I'll pick up some rod this week and see if how it works out.
