Another 4310 battery question!!

Talked with the dealer last Friday. He wants me to bring it in so they can have a look at it. I won't be able to bring it until this coming Friday. Hopefully it will get taken care of with minimal hassel.

Called dealer today to check on the status of my tractor. They are going to put vent tubes on battery and run them under tractor so any venting will be away from oil cooler. They are also going to "clean-up" any existing corrosion and make a note in their computer system in case that becomes an issue in the future. Dealer thinks there is only minor corrosion to some of the cooling "fins". I don't know if there is a better word for that or not. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I think I should be satisfied with this fix unless there is something I am missing.

I had my oiler cooler blow a serious hole because of the battery corrosion. The dealer replaced my cooler and put a sealed battery in my 4300. All done under warranty. No cost out of my pocket. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I think it may come to that if I have a problem in the future with the cooler. Hopefully they are right in saying that it looks to be only minor surface damage.
