I'd say it all hinges on the quality of the components. Glad I didn't have to do that to install a 3rd function on my loader as I have 3 sets of remotes on the rear of both my tractors so all I did was I ran another set of hydraulic hoses from the back to the loader and installed a set of couplers at the juncture where I remove the loader from the tractor if required. When I need the 3rd function, all I do is plug in the male connectors to one of the vacant disconnects on the back of the tractor and use my already existing, in cab remote levers to actuate the loader mounted hydraulic disconnects. If I remember correctly, they whole setup cost me 250 bucks. Mostly use it for the power angle on my loader arm mounted snowplow and the
grapple I welded to the top of one of my FEL buckets. I purchased a Green Machining
grapple kit and mounted that to the top of one of my loader buckets in as much as I have no need for a dedicated
grapple at all.
