Almost that time again

Last cut of the season is looming for me. Looks like I'll mow all the fields over labor day with the discbine with the wide/thin kit installed and then I'll probably have to ted it anyway to get it to dry down because here in SE Michigan, late summer means heavy morning dew. All the equipment is serviced and ready to rock. Need to get my 'can do' attitude on. My customer is ready to take every last round I run. Gotta keep those steers fed this winter.

Just up 23 from ya a ways in Hartland. Yep... Tedded today. Bale tomorrow and mop-up and clean up the machinery monday. On the plus side... I'll drop another 7lbs in the corse of 2 days. Gotta luv that part of it.

Morning dew will always be an issue this time of the year. You have to move back past noontime now. Fine with me anyway, I hate getting up early anyway. Everything I run goes to one place anyway. My vocation is feeding bucking bulls. Gotta keep the rodeo's going...

My one field is heavy alfalfa the others are about half and half.
