Nearly done splitting last winter's wood cutting, until another job comes along.

Nice Job-Splitfire, I have just started splitting next years pile, not anywhere near as far along as you are. We burned alot of wood this year in CT. I like to split but dont know if I will get to it,hay, lawn, and family while the weather is nice !!!

Wow! To a Vermonter, that's as good looking as a fat bank account! Nice job!

We got an early start this year. Cut the log length into stove length rounds when there was still a couple of feet of snow on the ground. We now have about five cords split and stacked, and another three to go. The plan was to finish the job before the blackflies woke up and started biting. We almost made it!

Next year, we'll start when there's three feet of snow on the ground!

Our plan was to be done before the heat and the mosquitoes arrived. As I stated, we have until someone else calls and needs a tree removed. By the way that pile measures 40'x80' x10' , I have had enough for now.
