Looking at the following tractor to purchase.
Allis Challmers 1989 diesel, Yanmar 18 hp, 4 wheel dr., pto, 600 hrs., turf tires. seems to be in good condition. What is a reasonable price to pay for a tractor of this quality?
Using it to mow and some plowing for wildlife food strips. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I dont remember an allis tractor using an yanmar engine. what model of tractor is it. also I think your tractor is a little light for what you want to do, one negatvie is turf tires.

Is the tractor a 5215 or a 5220? These tractors were made by Hinnomoto and pretty certain they had Toyosha engines in them, Yanmar would have been under contract with Deere so I really don't think it could be a Yanmar. I have the older series AC5020, had it since new, good machine nothing much in repairs to speak of in 24 years, just normal maint. Check to see if the bellhousing or the transmission cases are aluminum, if your planning on a loader and using it alot be very very gentle and get a full subframe loader. Moldboard plowing with turfs,,,, well put some chains on the back tires or better yet go with a tiller for ground prep.

Found out more about the tractor. It's an Allis Chalmers Model #5015, made in 1983. Purchased it today and now would like to find out where to get a manual. Any help out there would be appreciated.

You might find one come up on e-bay,, or go to the local Agco dealer. Almost bought that model, but decided on the 5020 instead. It definitly has a Toyosha engine in it and the machine was made by Hinomoto for Allis.

Still trying to find a manual for Allis Chalmers Model 5015,1983.

What started to be a simple thing as buying a mower attachment for the above tractor. I was asked what the rpm's of the pto would be and I'am still trying to get that info.

It has a 540 rpm PTO. According to this TractorData.com Allis Chalmers 5015 tractor information, it is the same tractor as a Simplicity 9518, so you may want to check on a manual from them. This site YT Catalog Search has the Operator's and Service Manuals available for the 5015 at $29.95 each.
