Any 'G' owners here? Got any info to share? I'm going to look at a couple this weekend.

Also.. anyone have any good parts sources.

I'll need things specifically.. like a hood.. and tune up items.. etc

Any tips or info is appreciated. I've messed with a quite a few tractors.. though probably AC the least. I heard the tranny is the same as the 'b' though rotated.. etc.

The Allis G is a great little collector tractor. It really takes a knack to rebuild the engine. It has a 9hp continental engine and some old timers have told me they are difficult to work on. I saw one today which was well rerstored. The tranny seems to be straight forward and not too bad to work on. The attachments are around and many. This tractor is on my wish list for the future. I am just returning to the farm and look forward to getting set up to be able to find some of these treasures. Have fun!

Soundguy. Just for informational purposes, The G will sell in the $2500-$3500 range here in central Ky right "off the farm" with no restoration. They usually do have cultivators with them.--Ken Sweet

soundguy, my sisters father-in-law collects just the G series AC he has like 6 or 8 of these tractors,and I would say he probably has alot of info. for places to get parts for this tractor,he has actually built a 1/4 scale AC "G" . i'll get a hold of her this evening to get her FIL's info. for you.

I got the G I went to look at. I ~think~ I have found all the sheet metal for it, as mine was completely devoid of sheetmetal.. no hood.. no fenders.. no rear cowling.. no battery box or lid.. etc.

I'll know bythe end of next week hopefully if I got all the sheetmetal.

I'm still looking for a choke and starter rod, as well as another foot step to go on the footrest bar.

At the huge antique tractor show in Portland Indiana last year they had a guy that made a 1/2 scale G and it looked perfect. I also saw a conversion kit over a year ago to put a Kubota Diesel in a G. If I remember correctly it was some ridiculus price like $8-10,000 for the kit with the engine. Once in a while you see a G with dual wheels. Believe it or not they made a loader for them also.

soundguy,The e-mail I gave you,ask him,I think he probably has any attachment ever made for the G,that might have been him that the other member seen at portland,he travels everywhere getting tractors or parts,and he did build a smaller one,give him a hollar,tell him his daughter-in-laws brother jim sent you.

The guy I bought mine from repowers them with isuzu diesels.. real affordable.. base model is 5500$ restored..

I'd love to see a loade for one of these beauties..
