Agreed. CBD oil looks very promising for treating a multitude of medical problems. I hope that, in the near future it will become over-the-counter(not from a pot shop).

Not to steer away from booze or pot etc...but how many know someone that is addicted to prescription pain meds...?...it's a sad situation...

Some blame Doctors. I blame society. We have a couple as friends, the female has every ailment known to man. If the current Doctor won't treat her and subscribe some miracle cure she'll find a new Doctor. Her goal is to get on Disability. And she will succeed. Miraculously she feels much better by Friday afternoon.

All I can say, is that at this stage of the game, firing up some legal reef and cleaning up the shop with the stereo at half mast is one heck of nice time. Add wood stove for heat in the cold times. YESSS.

Had it been available MJ or even CBD oil way back when how much suffering could it have saved this gentleman, a (retired police captain) with Parkinsons...

I've met a number of guys (older guys too) that were addicted to pain meds. People like you and I that hung up with back problems and other issues I guess. When cleaned up some the best people you'd ever meet. Not the same person when using.
Nobody wakes up one day and says I'm going to be a drunk or a addict. Many things makes someone keep using. Everyone has a reason but unfortunately not usually a good one.
Been through a recovery program so you get to see all walks of life!

There's a bunch of causes, that's for sure, but any list of them needs to start with the pharmaceutical companies. I read some incredible stuff about the rollout of oxycontin and the way rural Appalachians were targeted by the drug makers. It wasn't a coincidence. They insisted their drugs weren't habit forming and signed folks up by the thousands. Seriously disgusting.

Marijuana is like Chapstick by comparison.
