I propose to discuss mulcher AHWI RT 400.Features of operation,breakdowns,fuel consumption...
Working on this machine in Russia.Now a tractor in Siberia in the city of Turtas.The temperature outside is -37.Feels great)) Webasto helps.Tractor almost did not stop,work day and night!

What is it like working in Russia? I've always wanted to visit and see Red Square and the Trans-Siberian RR and the fields near Stalingrad. I imagine a lot of your trees are like the ones we have in the western parts of N. America.. big and tall.

Do you have Bobcat machines in Russia? How is your AHWI machine? Do you like it?

Nothing special to work in Russia.Acclimating and freezing temperatures too.
Very beautiful in Siberia,there will not argue.Because the nature has no bad weather))
To repair the mulcher in forest using a tent with heat gun.
Live in cabins with wood-burning stove.As we work in shifts(day and night) the driver of the tanker is on duty in the kitchen and preparing meals into free time))There is no womans in the forest))
Moving through the woods only truck Ural 6X6.
In another way,it is possible to get stuck for 2 days...until help gets here!
Yes we have a Bobcat.Mainly working on the construction.In the forest they are not.
The first reason why AHWI is a metric connection all the bolts.The second is the availability of the service and spare parts(AHWI collect in Europe).Yes and for so many years in the forest AHWI has established itself as the AK.I like it!!!

You can稚 be Russia . Looks just like Canada where I mulch . We Use exactly the same machines . Bron , AHWI , Valtra , Fendt Seppi , Plaisance, Pro Heat ,Webasto . Exactly the same as you guys .

Hi Bill.I always respect these hard workers.
I had GT 25 and GT 13.I am a little not satisfied with their performance.IMHO.Probably because they were used)) from the States!

All connections in inches(in Russia in metric),rubber tracks,GT 25 for oversized cargo transportation by road...and most importantly, spare parts need to wait for the ocean 2 to 6 months)))
Notice I said nothing about hydraulics)))But work only on PTO!

I prefer the PTO myself . We can get good deals on AHWI here now . I believe it has been purchased by Prinoth , a canadian company . I like the Raptor . King of mulchers . I also see that the 300 and 800 have high rear sprockets . This should solve the problem of plugged tracks breaking drives loose . I have had that problem with every steel tracked mulcher that I have ever owned .

My Mama told me-learn English))
Officially, AHWI call it Delta-Track System.
The Delta-Track System improves off-road
mobility particularly, when moving backwards.
Also stress for operator and machine decrease
significantly. For Jobs in swampy areas, different
width grouser shoes are an option.

Marek,write me the model of your Valtra.And correct me if I'm wrong,but bh 120 hydraulic hitch(mulcher)?Will have to remake almost everything to install Turboclutch.I think you will be cheaper to buy a hitch(mulcher) with PTO,than to do bh 120.



At AHWI RT 400 Turboclutch is in the engine compartment,between engine and main module.That is placed on the tractor as in AHWI Raptor 300 and AHWI Raptor 800.
In your case,you will have to put two(2) Turboclutch in the cutter,one on each side!,gearbox,cardans,the bearing assemblies,and the hydraulic pump with motor for oil cooling in gearbox.

Logistics -- when the Lena river is frozen,and the other way to get into the city Мирный (a city in Siberia,where the diamonds are mined),it is necessary to transport the mulcher AHWI RT 400 through Siberia!!!
Had the honor of "walking" winter road from Ust-Kut to Mirniy(18.01-22.01.2017) in Siberia on MAN TGS 33.480 6x6 with trailer from Politrans with 32 tons on Board.
I was accompanied by a Nooteboom which transported mulcher AHWI RT 400.It was a convoy of 7 trucks.
Night temperature fell to - 43,the day was comfortable...-28)))
The length of the route is 955 km.
The average consumption of 88 liters(MAN)
Total 4-ro nights(4 nights+4 days)
Impressions for the transfer of force majeure has not been:
-on the second night (about 01:30) stopped working heater(hair dryer ) cabin.Had to start the truck.
-on the 4th night exploded inner left wheel 1 axle trailer.Now there is an understanding in the difference frame of the trailer and lean-to!)
-to destination arrived with empty tanks(main+ызфку),because of a зкщидуь on the second night.
-saved Solaris
-saved KAMAZ.
Thank God we arrived without any accident,all crew alive!!!

In the next post I will tell you how warm up the mulcher if the temperature outside is -43!!!
