I've been looking/dreaming about a new tractor long enough that I have 3 different Agco brochures. The numbers are the same in the ST series except one has no suffix, one has an X, and one has an A. Which one is the newest, and are these still current?

I've got 3 Agco dealers plus a non-functioning MF dealer in the area with friends working at 2 of the 3. The MF dealer basically is pushing NH stuff and the only MF compact they have in stock is a 4 year old new/never titled 30hp gear machine with a 54" Rhino loader for $13,295.

The ST-A series is the most recent, being the agco equivalent of the MF 1500 series. The other ST series is the older model with the X designating an economy version.

Thanks! Life would be a lot easier if everyone used something like the same system to give a guy some chance of knowing what's what. Between horsepower, weight, hydraulics, and implements capabilities, things can get pretty confusing. It's kind of like trying to speak 4 or 5 languages at the same time.

Don't worry , Soon enough you'll be speaking fluent Tractorese!! (is that a word) /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif....

I liked the AGCO'S I looked at but the dealer was over 100 miles away and was hi-balling me to start with, so I bought a Massey elsewhere... same tractor different color(peachy) /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
