After weighing all the options, designs, sizes, companies near and far. I decided the best grapple for me would be a local company s product called the rake master. its 72 inches wide which covers the front wheels.
I visited the small company shop where a robot was busy welding, a automated plasma cutter was going through sheets of ar 400 steel. this is a 4 man operation and they have building rakes and grapples down.

heres my tractor with new rake.

What do you have mounted on your grill guard?
Can I get a better picture of the grill guard?
I'm been thinking about modifying mine.

thanks,

here you go. I just added to the factory guard where i thought it was lacking. the perforated 11 gauge stainless does keep the grille clean.

Nice job on the grill guard, should have done mine before I busted my lower grill and battery.

Yes, I'll need to do the same thing. Punched a small hole in the black plastic vent in the front of mine. No significant damage, but it will probably happen again unless I do something to prevent it.
Your attachment has more of a "rake" utility instead of a root grapple. I went with a grapple because of the wedge type welded pieces on the end of each tine.
