955 questions

Well we close on the 10-acres this Friday (fingers crossed).

I think I'm settling on a 955, but still have a couple of questions. I'll ultimately need to have both MMM and loader (along with several other attachments that aren't as critical).

- I need to get something to get the mowing done sooner rather than later, while keeping initial cash outlay down, so I'm considering buying a 955 with MMM, and then adding the loader later. I'm worried about finding a loader that will fit though. Anyone know what loaders will fit without mods? I'm not really setup yet to do any fabrication so I'm looking for ideas about what will "bolt on".

All my 955s came with the 70A FELs. They also had the mid PTO and
brackets to mount the MMM, but I never had that implement. It sure
looks like there is no interference between the mounts for the MMM and
the FEL mount.

If you do find a 955 to buy and it has no FEL, there are lots of aftermkt
FEL makers that probably support that tractor. It will still cost you
$3500+ to get one. It is more likely that you will find a 955 with the
FEL and need to buy a mower. If you do not find a MMM, also consider
a rear finish mower or rotary cutter.
