I just bought a new #7 hoe. There is no step or guard at all over the cylinders on the stabilizers. In the owners manual (last updated in July 1992) on page 62, it shows part F. Mine does not have part F. What I really want is an add on step that would mount half way up the stabilizer. I remember seeing one somewhere on TBN for a backhoe. It might have been for another model or brand. It is a loooonnnnggg reach to go from the steps on the platform all the way to the ground past the end of the stabilizers.

Does anyone know of a part from any mfgr that could be adapted to my stabilizer arm?

Did you ask your dealer. I thought my #7 had 1 also, But I tradede it in over a year ago.I know the 48 backhoe has 1. Maybe it would fit on the #7 ?
