Mid-Mount Mower 650 belly mower

Hello,
I bought this belly mower for my JD 755 and the pto faces forward. My thought was to turn around the gear box or replace it with the right one. It is in excellent condition. I would consider selling it if this does not work. Thanks for your input.
OM-M72244 160 Rotary Mower is what is on the manual. I also have the rear brackets to hook it up to trailing arms.

I am assuming no one has tried to convert this mower to work on a 755.

I did something similar at one time but I made it 3pt. Issue I had was it turned backwards. Changed blades to left hand ones and it worked on the deck (think it was gravely) I used. By changing the blades you could have a issue the way the grass is discharged. Just a thought for you.

The front PTO on the 650/750 wasn't 540rpm. 1000rpm? not sure. I don't think that's going to be cost effective for you.

Yea you're probably right. You got me thinking now that maybe the front mount was engine rpm. That makes it even faster ?

so what I am hearing is the rpm will be way to high once hooked up to the rear pto or to low??????
