5525 Hand Throttle

Last week I did some mowing a mile from our farm and of course used the foot throttle to drive back. When I got back the hand throttle was not working. It will move like normal but is not doing anything. Anyone had this issue before? Easy fix?

All you can do is check all of the throttle linkages on the hand throttle and make sure a link hasn't come apart. Good luck with it.

Had this happen on our 5530wd turbo, Check the linkage and you will probaly find a missing pin on the linkage next to the engine block on the left side - (clutch side). It takes a very small cotter pin to keep the pin in place - weak cotter pin. Not the easiest to replace use a needle nose pliers and patience.

The nut that ties the cable to the throttle on the engine could gave come off... This happed to a 6025 I had....
