5500 KMW Loader Pivot Pin

The Mahindra 1 x 4-1/8" pin is hollow and after only ten years of abuse sheared off on one side. It is the upper pin in this picture with the locking ear tab. Any economical substitutes? Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Note that the upper pin that sheared off is hollow, but the lower pin is solid. The pin out of frame bottom right is same as top pin. Wouldn't solid be better?

By hollow, do you mean drilled down the center for grease? Some of mine on the 7520 are. Greased from the end to exit at a circle groove midway down the pin. On mine the pins fatigue and break at that groove.

Hmm - sounds stupid. I would look into substituting that adjacent solid pin replacement part for the failed hollow part. Just make sure you provide for greasing the pivot.

Mac, is that top pin greaseable? It doesn't appear to be. So it would be the same situation as the bottom pin just out of frame which I assume holds the lift hydraulics.

I think I’d take a look at the rest of the hollow pins and replace with solid, good chance more are ready to let go . Do all 4 of the loader cylinders use hollow pins at both ends?

It looks like only the four pins
at the attachment plates on the tractor.
The ones in front appear to be different.

It lasted 10 years. I'm just going to cave and rush order one from my dealer.
