50G reset hours?

My 50G cab monitor (instrument panel) went bad. It had a crack in the screen and filled up with water sitting in the wet weather. The machine would not start nor would the panel show any information. After troubleshooting the problem back to the monitor, I purchased a new one from my local dealer. Plugged it in and everything works great....so great in fact that now it appears I have a new machine. I had about 1400 hours on the machine but with the new monitor it is showing 0.1 hours. I assumed the hours were kept by the central ECU but evidently not. Does anyone know a way to add the 1400 hours to the hour meter? Also, the new display is showing a wrench icon in the top left of the display. I cannot find information on what this means or how to reset it. I really don't want the cost of a dealer visit to fix these things but I assume that is my only option?
