5030hst pto problem

i have a 5030hst that the pto wont engage and when i put my brush hog deck on it it wont pick it up it moves up and down but wont lift weight the trans works good and so does front end loader

have you checked the hyd fluid level on the tractor? sometimes, it's hard to read on the dipstick. have the hyd/hst filters been changed w/routine maintenance? are you running proper udt or sudt fluids? that would be a start. best regards

Does not make sense, check hydraulic pump, filter and suction line.

Following diagram in WSM for hydrostatic transmission
Pump section 1 goes to

Front Hydraulic Block (Loader should connect to this)
AUX remote block (rear remotes)
3Point position control valve

Pump section 2 goes to
Power steering control valve
Oil cooler
Servo control valve(foot peddle controls this flow to actuate piston for the swash plate)
PTO clutch valve
Hydrostatic transmission.

Is the valve under the seat open? Check the wires going in and out of your switch on the pto.
