On my 4500, I occasionally have to slightly twist the PTO (pull out only) knob to clear the PTO interlock so it can crank. Possible your PTO switch is cranky in a different manner: try twisting slightly when out? Also, fuses all OK?
thanks guys but I have 12 volts to the solinoid so I`m thinkin it may be in side any more help would be welcome. There was a post some time back from a guy named kelly that had the same problem. He said something about some sort of points were corroded.I wish he would reply. Kelly I live in Union you said you were from St. Clair Mo. Please reply
Beenthere I can`t find it now but it was way back there but I did send him an e-mail but he hasen`t responded as of yet. I would mainly like to know which dealer he took it to. I checked out the elec. part and I don`t think it is there I have 9.1 olms on the solinoid and I have 12v at the sol where it should be so I think it is internal Thanks for any help anyone can give.
