I'm getting ready to purchase a 4310 with 430 fel, epr trans, bb1065 box blade, lx5 cutter, iMatch system and r4s. I am in south-central texas. The drive-out is $19,750.00. Is this a reasonable price? I have gotten a slightly better deal on a similar setup, only with the 300x fel. The 430 fel looks beefier to me - may not make any real differences in normal operation, but looks better to me?

Larry, there is a dealer up here in Conn. that wants $22500 for a 4wd-fel equiped 4310 with no other implements

That sounds like a pretty good price. I paid $16,850 for a 4310 epr with 430 FEL on R4s, no equipment.

According to that, I guess I'm OK. I'm a newbee and a bit nervous about my purchase. It's not like buying an automobile where you have an abundance of consumer type reports to help with your purchase. Thanks.

From what I can tell, stick with the 430 FEL, rather than the newer but lighter weight 300x.
