Ballast 4110 Rear Ballast

/ 4110 Rear Ballast #22
Thanks Stuart,
How many 50 lb plates do you think you could fit in the box? Guess I should have asked that before. Mine is currently filled with sand, about 450 lb. I'd like a little more weight, but don't want to fill it with concrete. Using the 50 lb plates sounds like a good option.

My guess is 12 to 15 50lb weights/ The weights are about 1" to 2" thick and 15" in diameter if this gives you any idea. They also make an extension for the ballast boxes that sit on top of the box if you need more room. I do not know why they did not just make the box bigger to begin with but I can guess. The weights are easy to move in and out at 50 lbs. Any heavier and I would be visiting my doctor.
