It looks like most of you are running 6' blades and rakes or bigger, with some running a 66" or larger box blade.
What is the going consensus for size on the 404x's.

I know you typically want wider than your tire track but I only see the specs with Ag tires at 55.9"
Anybody have the width with the R4's?

I just picked up a good deal on 10 year old Landpride LR1572 rake, BB1560 Box blade, RBT1572 blade, and RTA1558 rotary tiller.
When I say good deal I paid $1800 and they were stored inside and all but the tiller has less than 20 hours.

I'm thinking I should look for a larger BB.

Thanks,

I just purchased a 6' brush hog @ tractor supply and the tractor really doesn't know it is back there lots of power left over. The only problem is the geometry of the unit, it just isn't made for a compact tractor it's made for your utility type tractors. We had a 60" before and it was great just not wide enough to cover the tire width. Don't get me wrong it works great I have never had a problem with the TSC equipment it's just the hook up of the 3pth that is wrong everything runs up hill. I also have a 6' box blade and a 5' tiller because I haven't had the money to replace it yet.
