4035 with 485 question

   / 4035 with 485 question #11
Just looked up 4025 specs, tractors are about the same weight, the backhoe on 4035 #'s are slightly stronger. Not that it really means much. So I would think unless the stabilizers are built different it should go. Are your tires loaded or empty

Paper and real life between these two tractors are night and day. The 4025 4wd is a good bit heavier

Didn't think about it but does the backhoe leak down at all?

No leak down to speak of. I put a pressure gauge on the stabilizer down pressure line. 2600 psi. I didn't have an ag connector to check it at the remote but I'll pick one up tomorrow and see if it's any higher going into the backhoe. The relief is supposed to be set at 2750. So is the machine.

My 5035 w/595 hoe does not even hesitate to raise the rear off the ground.. basically the same tracxtor hyd system and with a similar Bradco built hoe... So, I would say yours should too ..... [ my 1 cent :) ]

Have you checked the fluid level since the backhoe was operated?

   / 4035 with 485 question #17
Maybe you just have some air in your lift cyl's.... Could have drifted down [ they just about all do if you don't put them down when the hoe is off the tractor, OR, tie/chain them up in place. If they drifted down, they might have sucked air into the system somehow... [ just another 1 cent ]

Ok so after testing and emailing the dealer looks like its going back. They can figure it out. I'm guessing something is hooked up wrong from mahindra.

I pulled the staybilizer pressure line off. 2600 psi. I pulled the quick connect off rear remote on tractor and got 4000psi and climbing. Hmm he said it should be on the relief circuit at 2950 psi. Its not. And I don't think the loader is either, it really bogs down the motor while raising or dumping without even a load on it.
Maybe that's why the bango bolt kept leaking, 4000psi+ could def, blow a little rubber washer!!

He also has another 4035 with loaded tires with 485 backhoe( its actually a 50b)(now that I looked at it close) and it would not lift the machine with just the staybilizers. However putting the hoe bucket down he could lift the machine right up. Mine won't move it but 1/2" past what the stayblizers will do.
Stupid, what ever wrong. Stupid.

If anybody has any ideas before I bring it back let me know.

Update, I got a pressure gauge hooked up on the link loader, best I can tell at the quick connect I'm getting 4000psi+ there too. I'm starting to second guess my testing method. I even tried bleeding out the gauge first thinking maybe air somehow is spiking. But still the same result.
Does anybody know how many pressure reliefs are on the 4035. Are they in the loader control valve and rear remote independatly or is there one main one that then feeds all the hydraulics.

Today I tried the backhoe again because that wasn't making sense that with 2600 psi it would lift it up with the boom. And it was so strong I could of tipped the tractor over at idle. Awesome! I must have been doing something wrong the first time. Still no go with stabilizers.

Ok so I got a higher pressure gauge, loader quick connects are pushing 7000psi. We've concluded a 4035 only has 1 relief valve in the main power distribution block. And its not working! Going back to dealer Monday for a new one. For anybody who read the first thread I had about the pump washers leaking. Guess why, lol.
