3x20 diverter installation

Here are some pictures of the diverter install on my 3320 open station. Wouldn't trade it for the world. Please disregard the mud.

Didn't say it earlier but I bought my Snap on set on eBay. Very clean 1/4" up to 2" for $106 plus shipping. There didn't seem to be a huge draw for them on there and I picked them up cheap.

Off topic... but what yr is the sweet lil Bronco you got hiding there?? I am in process of halfazz restore of a 74' as we speak. Just curious as they have always been one of my favorite rigs.

My dealer quoted me around $1200 for this kit. That's just the parts not installed. Is that what you guys are being quoted?

Yes that's the price from a dealer. they will only discount 10% unless it is part of a tractor deal. I have been looking for a year and came acrossed a dealer in Texas that had one on the shelf for 875.00. I will have it by weeks end for install. Talking about perfect timing on this thread!!!!!!

I tell you what, I think I am going to have to do this as well. I borrowed my neighbor's 4120 to till with the other day, and he has the full diverter plus top n tilt and it was so nice to use. Man, that would save me a significant amount of time box blading too since I am constantly off the tractor adjust my side to side angle or forward to back angles. It sure is an expensive option, but one I think it totally worth it.

Just had the diverter and top/tilt installed on my 3320 open station at my local JD dealer. $1,175 for the diverter kit, $925 for the top and tilt kit, $440 labor for both. Worth ever penny!!!

What year is your 3320 and where did they locate the toggle switch for the diverter? My instructions wanted me to mount it right next to my 3rd scv lever. The knock out was actually under the decal for the 3rd scv. I chose to move mine to the fender next to the cruise switches. I have 2007. Just wondering if they changed that on newer versions. I couldn't help but think JD was pretty cheap to save 3ft of wire by not locating it on the fender. The fender and cruise wiring has to be removed for the install anyway.

I have a 2008 and it sounds like its in the same place as your knockout, just in front of the rock shaft lever. I would assume they located it there because the other knockouts on the fender are dedicated to other optional switches. I suppose in an ideal world they could have included a wire extension in the kit so you could use the fender location.

An update, I finally got some spare time so installed the diverter kit on my 372. I didn't remove the wheel as per the instructions. With the 6" wheel spacers there was enough room to work and get the kit installed. The trickiest part was installing the lines to the rear of the tractor.

The kit instructions are straight forward and the only issue I had was installing the lines to the rear of the tractor. The instructions said which line part number to install to which fitting but the lines did not have any part numbers on them and the instructions had no pictures saying what each line looked like. Since each line is different it would have made life easier if they had part numbers on them.

Now I just need the top and tilt cylinders.
