3PH Utility Cargo Hauler....

Lookee at what I bought.

From TSC, a 3ph Utility Cargo Hauler, 4'x6' trailer(without wheels) tilt bed. Pull a pin and it tilts just like a simple utlity tilt trailer.

I plan on Putting down a plywood floor, adding sides 30" Front sloping to 20" in the back. And hauling shavings in it. It is rate for 1500lbs (+/- I dont remember the exact number).

Great looking hauler. Sounds like the modifications you'll make will be very useful.

Glad you have the hydraulic top-link. Not sure I'd be able to use it with much height to a load until I get a hydraulic top link. Guess there's always another attachment or modification I'll want. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Cost $298.00

Worth every penny I think. It is simple enough design that oe probably could build it for about 150 in steel. Maybe $200.00.

I will probably get a second one if it works as well as I think it will. Modify one for the shavings hauling. And modify a second as a forest going chainsaw party carrier. Make it so when I go cutting up logs it acts as a counterweight and has storage for the Saw, Gas, bar oil nad toolboxes. That setup can double as the fence repair service, etc...

Do you have a TSC part number? I know I've seen that carrier before somewhere but I couldn't find it on the TSC site.

I used a combination of items to achieve something similar but won't haul as much. I bought the hitch receiver advertised on here that bolts to your drawbar and hooks to the top link and used one of those hitch things similar to the basket shown above. That should be a setup you could use on your BX2200 and probably keep you under $200.
Just a thought, but that setup looks pretty tempting with that weight capacity,

I meant to do this last night but I didnt have pen and paper. There is a Manufacturer name and phone number on the thing.

Also I was mistaken it is rate for 2500lbs. I was thinking 1500 beacause that was all I was thinking I needed it to be for the implementation I will be using it for.

Rigging it with a Hydraulic dump... Actually going to use it as it is for a while. If I dont like the way it is working (probably test it today I hope) then that is excactly what I plan on doing.


Also probably will be doing some kind of weight test later today on it....

Northern tool sells one like that for $329 + Shipping according to their website. Looks pretty handy.
