I am getting a 318 with a tiller and wondered if using the tiller on unbroken ground with rocks, alot of them varying in size from .25" up to 65lbs in it is a wise thing? Or should I first run a plow or box scrapper or a landscape rake?
Suggestions and or opinions appreciated,

Chris

Running a tiller over 65 pound rocks is asking alot out of it. I would never do it to my Land pride, but I might try it with a rental.

I would use what ever I had to break the big rocks loose and then pick them up first before tilling.

How about a cultivator, landscape rake, and then the tiller? The cultivator will at least expose most of the rocks.
