3032e fuel delivery valve update?

I got a call from my dealer saying they received a "product improvement notice" from JD on my 2 year old 3032e for a new fuel delivery valve. They are going to pick it up, install the new part, and deliver if for free. I haven't scheduled it yet, but probably will next week.

I looked online, but couldn't find any recall or anything like that. Is this normal for Deere to do?

My 3038E was in this week for that recall. Had to do with the fuel injection system. The dealers do them as they have time and when the shop is not too busy with other clients tractors.

kcflhrc - I bought mine new in April 2012, I believe built late 2011. Not sure of the entire range, but I'll try to get more info when I schedule mine

Not sure what years are affected. The head service guy called and he explained that a "service improvement" was issued. Sometimes the dealer gets the info first, sometimes JD sends it to the customer first. Probably will get something in the mail about later on.
