how about forgetting that your truck is behind you and you back in it, no big deal just a broke tail light
Ditto here... I probably haven't learned yet after two hits :banghead:Guilty my door has not one but 2 dents in it

Our temporary "tent-garage" had a couple of bungees snapped from driving in with the ROPS up, and I caught one of the tent poles with the bucket corner as I was backing out.
We built our garage with a 10' H x 16' W roll up door to hopefully avoid furture door collisions.

sadly.. by the time i got rid of that tarp garage. all 4 of the poles on the 2 drive in sides ( but not the 2 middle ones! ) had t-post braces on them.![]()
You guys have all just made my day. My favorite is to leave the parking brake on.
Was backing out of a highly wooded area on a compound slope that the tractor did not like and I was watching the wheels closely for lifting. When all of a sudden I saw a brief, very quick movement out of the corner of my right eye and my right hand on the steering wheel was hit by a tall, strong, sapling that apparently had been caught by the ROBB and bent nearly to the ground. After the ROBB released all that energy, the sapling decided to bloody up my right hand. I decided not to look until the blood started soaking through the leather glove. Ended my tractor days for two weeks...
Oh, and 1 Toyota right-front marker light :ashamed:
Oh well if we are going there.. my turn. I no longer have the tent/pole structures.. but back when I did.. i was parking my ford 5000 and 10' mower. the tent poles were spaced about 10' 6" on center. meaning I had about 2" on either side to pull in. I absentmindly pulled in one day and creased/bent the pole so bad that it was weak when straight and had to sink a tpost alongside it using 3 radiator band clamps to shore it up.

(Driveway is over 70% down grade in spots). I always make sure I'm in 4WD now when going the driveway.
