261 Massey loader hydraulic hookup

I hooked up the hydraulics to the diverter valve under the seat. It's extremely slow but it works. But I found that after a while my three point stopped working. Maybe I hooked it up wrong on the return. Any one have pics where the oil returns from the controls to the tank?

Using a diverter valve on the typical Massey lift pump will give you either external supply OR three point operation. You don't get both at the same time. Chances are you didn't hook anything up wrong. You just need to figure out what works and get used to using it.

Right. I throw the switch forward, I get my loader. When it's centered, I get my three point. Also, I figured it that when I push in the clutch, there is no flow. It worked at first and now I have neither.

The 261 tractors have a 2 step clutch 1st step stops the drive wheels 2nd step or all the way down shuts pto off the hydraulics run off pto drive what I did on mine was basically permanent mount a box blade on mine with a 35 gallon hydraulic tank on it with a pto pump to run loader my third function and rear remotes I disconnected the valve under the seat so it just does the 3 point

That's actually a really great idea, right if the PTO you would have plenty of flow. Unfortunately I need to be able to use my three point for several implements.

Then you're pretty much stuck with what you have.
