2520 seat spring mod??

I tried searching for the post about the springs that someone used to replace the rubber bumpers on a 2520 seat. I was going to try the mod but can't find the thread. I think the springs were off an x series mower but I don't remember which one.

Thanks, I believe that's what I was looking for. Did it improve the ride much? I need something to take some of the shock out while I'm mowing.

Oh god yes! I was contemplating the Michigan seat and this was suppose to be a temporary fix, but now I think this is the fix for me and my 205 pounds.

How did you keep the old rubber caps on the new springs?

I just cut the top off and press it on top off the springs.
