Backhoe 2420 BH attachment

Getting this unit setup with BH attachment. Has the V2A Vteks FEL. BH weight is 1,000# dreaded 3pt. Going to get material tomorrow to secure the backside to the FEL frame. Moved the BH with FEL out of a pickup, counter weight 55 gal barrel mounted to the three pt filled with water. So far so good. It is a self contained BH. Great to have this site for info. Slow but sure. Think I'll invest in the wheel spacers for stability insurance. 2420d.

From Betst Products in Oregon. I need it for small projects around my place an cannot get access with a regular sized BH, also lost my drive to hand dig.

Well a work in progress, like mentioned slow motion here, no blood was spilled so far. Hope the pictures open up. Used 3" bar stock was in search of 4" but thankful I went 3" got a 10 foot piece for $46.00. Used 4' on each side. Plan is to use chain an turnbuckle off the end of the frame ( see bolt through pic) to BH attachment too spread the load and stress. Not up in smoke yet!

Also swapped the rear tires for a wider stance. The wheel spacers offered by Doyle look good but the left side has three larger
lugs 1-inch so not sure if that will work.

Tractor and backhoe attachment worked great at 1600 rpm. Will probably be the deepest I'll dig around this place 5.5', installing a flow control valve on the well pipe line to a 3,000 gallon underground tank.

Wow, really looks good. Yup wider the better. What size output is the pump? Can you add the seating area pic, a little better view plz.

Here is a view from the driver seat. Not sure of the hydraulic flow on the attachment, call Betstco 877-876-7895 for specs. For me they are good to deal with got the BH attachment at a lower listed price an a upgrade from 12" to 16" bucket no charge. ATTACH=CONFIG]467632[/ATTACH]

Well I didn't get all of the photos of the initial installation out of the crate to the tractor. Had to set the BH attachment up on blocks to get the drive-line connected to the PTO sort of a balancing act, once up on blocks I strapped it to the tractor so it would not tip over. Once the drive line was hooked up it was a matter of dropping the out riggers an extend the backhoe out straight. Then it was easy to lineup an pin it.

I'd post more pic's etc but I am on a limited bandwidth with satellite Internet, exceed the limit during the 30 day rollover period then it is reduced to dial-up speed = "useless".
