3-Point Hitch 2305 Lubrication

Hi everyone. I am new to this website but have been reading everyones input for a few months. I have 10 hours on my 2305 and gone through the manual to do the proper maintenance. Since I am not a mechanic, I have a question that seems probably dumb to most of you, how do you lube the ball joints on the 3 point hitch? (Since there are no fittings)

I have a 2320 and have never put anything on the ball joints, but they are still moving freely. but i bet it wouldnt hurt to lube them every now and then..

If they ever needed lubing, I would NOT put anything that would attract dirt on them (ie grease).. If they dont move freely i would find a spray lubricant and use that..

I used to spray mine with an aerosol dry lubricant (actually white grease).
Since I installed Pat's Easy Change several years ago, I hit those joints with WD-40 (remove any water/condensation) then both the joints and the easy change with the white grease spray described above.

Fluid Film is by far the best for those, and all of the linkages IMHO. Since it has no solvents that evaporate, it outlasts anything else. Most JD dealers sell it.

Because they will rust if you don't.

and metal on metal is never good, altho they don't really move all that much.

I think im am have a destiny to buy some Fluid Film - over on another forum it came highly recommended as a lubricant for a .22 conversion for the ar15. I had never heard of it before, but will add it to my shopping list, especially since I now have 2 uses for it..
