Mahindra 2015 HST
Hi everyone. I have a 2015 and for the last 6-7 months when I get off of the tractor to do something the tractor continues to slowly travel in forward or reverse (whichever direction I was going before I jumped off). I set the parking brake before I jump off of it but it still moves.

At first I thought there was a grease fitting that needed filled on the HST pedal but if it's there I haven't found it. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment that can be made or if there actually is a fitting that I'm just missing?

First of all before you get this fixed I'd make sure you put the tractor HST in neutral when you get off, last thing you need is to be run over by it as this could become a safety issue. Have you contacted your dealer?
This is only a guess from what I'm reading in my service manual for my tractor but to me it could be either the pressure in the HST may be the issue. Have you checked for the correct oil level in the HST. Or the adjustment for the Stopper HST pedals are our of adjustment.
At what engine RPM does this happen...Idle or 2500?
What about the Speed Control Level does it appear to be operating correctly?
Also in my manual I show three grease spots for the HST linkage, but I can't tell how these are greased.

My 2615 creeps as well, I just make sure to tap the pedal until it is in neutral before I get off. I think the rocker pedal is too tight, but I haven't taken the time to look at it yet.

Something else to try if you don't have any grease fittings then get yourself a can of PB Blaster spray oil and hit all the linkage spots, might help.

My 2015 creeps the same way. (It's about 6 years old). I haven't looked into it either. I just make sure I put in neutral and put on emergency brake lock for now.

I also feel a wierd kind of vibration under my foot on the "forward"/ "reverse" pedal when taking off from a start. I'm hopeing it's just adjustment in the linkage or something...

You have some sort of adjustment problem,:( but there is no way that the tractor should move at all, not even a teeny tiny bit with the emergency brake on. You are not applying the brake hard enough if the tractor moves, AT ALL. If you are indeed applying the brake properly, then there are other problems that should be taken care of.

Good luck

Agreed. I have a Bobcat, but I'm sure generally they're the same. My manual instructions for adjusting the parking brake say it should hold the tractor in neutral on a 15 degree slope. Unless I'm at PTO RPMs, I'll stall the tractor if I try to drive with the brake on, too. Even at PTO RPM, It bogs pretty hard and barely moves.

Did you check and see if the cruise control lever is engaged? I had my tractor doing that once and at first I thought the brakes were broken or something in the pedal was stuck or bent. After living with it for a while, one day I had a "duh" moment when I realized the cruise control lever was engaged.

Sorry about the delay in response guys. I was back on the tractor this morning for the first time this week.

I sprayed some PB Blaster in the area, checked the fluid (it was fine) and still had some creeping throughout the morning. I went back through my owner's manual also. There is a section on adjusting the brake and clutch pedals but nothing on the rocker pedal. There are also no grease fittings for the pedal.

I really think the issue is that the pedal isn't coming clear back into the proper position...like maybe it's too tight or something. I just haven't found any possible adjustment to make yet.
