Hi All;
Just found this site and been reading through the wealth of information, so I thought I would join. I just traded my 6 year old LT 1042 for a new GT 2100. There was nothing wrong with the LT 1042 and it served me well, but I wanted more garden tractor capibilities, to maintain a 200 ft gravel driveway, pull a 350 lb chipper around, and move dirt, mulch, gravel, and wood as needed. I will add ag tires if I find I need them later on. I have also ordered a Johnny Bucket Jr. which should be here by the end of July, I hope. I have not gotten the 2100 yet as the dealer had to order the deck, wheel weights (50 lbs ea. wheel), and the bagger, so I can't answer my own question. The question is what is the diameter of the front axle spindles (The part the wheel attaches to)? I initially saw something that said they were 1 inch, but recently saw something indicating they were 3/4 inch. I hope they are 1 inch, but either way I guess I'm locked in at this point. Any 2100 owners care to share their experience with this tractor, (Good and Bad)?
Thanks for your help.
