200CX loader bucket size

I need some help with making the right choice for my 2320. The tractor is on order, and I have specced out the FEL with a 53" bucket. However, the dealer will let me swap it out for a 61" bucket at no charge if I so choose.

My question is whether this would be a good choice.

The reason I picked the 53" bucket to begin with is that this would give me more "digging power" per inch than the wider one. However, I am not sure whether the 53" would cover my tracks if I use it for smoothing.

Any thoughts?

The rear wheels of the 2520 are about 48" apart and my 53" bucket covers them nicely as long as I don't need to turn sharply. The other benefit of the smaller bucket is if you have trees (much of my property is wooded) you're a bit more maneuverable.

I think the 53 is the right choice. Most 2305's come with that (Mine did). The 61 I think would be too big except for really light material. The 53 will cover your tracks just fine. I think they also make a 47" but I've never seen that on any of them.

If you want bigger remember also that from what my dealer told me all the 300cx bits work on 200cx fel's also.

53" is the way to go - it'll cover your tracks.

53" is what I have on my 2320, and its just right... You can get a good size scoop, but its not too big for the tractor to handle..
