Are you sure you should just not leave well enough alone. This might end up costing you..LOL... Sorry, I could not resist....

Seriously, the Polaris is not a slouch in the utility vehicle sector. Why play this game. No matter what you do, people will challenge and question you.

I think there are alot of differences between the Polaris XP and the JD XUV, and most of the difference is in speed. They both can do a lot of work!

well it has been brung up many times about what the rnager can haul and i happen to have a friend with one and i have a lot of batteries and it's impossible to fake the weight of a bettery. so that would be the best thing to throw in the bed. you can put all the sacks of stuff you want but who's to say what is in them sacks.and as for as cender blocks like they show in the ranger video well there are a few diferent types of blocks made with diferent cement and i tell you this there is a 10lbs diference from one the cheap block to the good block. now like i posted befor a battery weight is pretty good at being over 40 are around itmost marine matteries are over 50lbs them big 8d batteries are 110lbs. but anyway we gonna see .i'm gonna get him over here to load that thing up.here's some pictures of him riding it in one of our holes . note it don't look like this anymore he tore the side compartment door off and hit a tree with the front anf bent the bumpt on both sides .yes it gets abused but he says thats what they are for. but then he freaks out when i ask to drop 1000klbs in the bed???go figure

There are always non-believers for everything. I buy my lime in bags by the ton and weigh them so I know what I've had in it, but you don't know me from Adam, so do your little experiment. I hope you will post the honest results here when you're done; I'm anxious to see them.

i'm just waitin on the ranger .i'm gonna give him a call again today and see whats up . yestereday they went ride in the spillway so he should be back today. well as for as believeine a regular joe i would but as for as them utv makers no i wouldn't belive any of them. thats why we have forums like this so guys like us can post true honest pics and videos of what these things really do from day to day and what they can and can not do. i have a yamaha rhino and they say it can haul 400lbs in the bed"I DON'T THINK SO" that thing would be so hard to steer and would probably be riding a wheelie to. i say a good load for the ranger is about 600lbs and that would be about right. but i'll get it over here and we'll see.hopefully i'm wrong but i say around 600.

Well, I have a 2' x 2' x 4' stainless steel tank that I used to use for watering pumpkins with my Ranger. The weight of the water alone would be 998.4 (62.4245 pounds/cubic foot at 39.1 degrees F)...now, I admit that I probably wouldn't fill it to the top, most likely to 6" of the top (due to sloshing, even with the cover on) which brings it down to approx. 750 pounds of water. I haven't entered the weight of the tank itself, but I would guess it's over 50 pounds so up until this year (we had way too much rain to worry about having to water this year) I've honestly carried 800 pounds on a weekly basis...

i got i9n touch with him today and we gonna load it up probably tomorrow but he won't be able to drive around with any kinda load he snapped the front cv joint on the drivers side but we can load up the bed and take pictures and a video.i hope that is good enough atleast that will show what the ranger looks like with a true 1000k lbs load in the bed to bad we won't beable to drive around with it. he might drive up about 10 feet or so but thats about it.

What setting are you using for the rear shocks/springs. I have seen videos of people loading the XP with the springs set at the softest settings and saying "see, it can't hold the weight"
