Hey guys,

I have a ~2007 CC 2544 with low hours. I take the deck off usually about once per season and give it a good cleaning, spindle greasing, and pull the blades to sharpen them.

The last few times while mowing I've noticed the deck seems to be higher on the left side than the right. It is especially prevalent when turning. I know air pressure in the tires can affect this (and I've not checked the tires yet). The left side casters barely touch the grass, so they aren't turning when the mower is rolling, whereas the right side casters are definitely rolling along.

Anyone know of a way to level the deck?

Thanks, Ben

tire PSI - both front and rear - need to be correct and matched side to side. Machine needs to be on a known flat surface. All measurements are taken from the undersides of the cutting blades, NOT the deck shell.
A detailed procedure will be in the owner manual for your machine. To get a copy, look in the cavity under the tilting seat; get the full technical model # and serial # off the ID plate/decal; go to PDF Manual Web Archive ; enter that info and d/l free pdf manual.
Good luck.
