Can you provide the name of the dealer. I would really like to purchase another one and would buy this in a minute.

Thanks!

Pilot-werx and others Just getting home from picking up a used King Kutter 5' rear blade and a used 47 " JD Snow blower I'm guessing 4yrs old came off a2210 that had 133 hr. This blower was maybe 20 miles closer to me than the dealer that had the 10 yr old blower.

Bought everything for less than $1200.00.
The blower price was $1000.00 and blade $200.00 including tax

Every one that has looked at both items says neither was used more than 6 times.

Thanks to everyone for the help and commits !!!!

Yea I had almost given up finding one this year. I'll try to get a few photos today or tomorrow

Glad to see you are fixed up, with a decent price.

I got a 47" snowblower this summer in a package deal with a 425, and used CL to find someone looking for one. Sold it to him for $1k. Later he came back for the quick hitch, as he gave up on a friend who was going to make one for him. Sold it for $500, incl. drive shaft and chains.
Left me with a Deere 425 AWS for $2k. I'm happy.

Well, I have both rear blade and blower on tractor. Seems like all should work very well. I do need to preform service on blower Thur or Fri of this week.
Just getting everything unloaded and put away took most of the day.

I found out a few things today.

1. Rear blade will not work with my quick hitch. But just hooking to 3ph wasn't that bad.
2 Will need to take blower off tractor and tighten the chain.
3 I had sent JD a question asking them when the blower was made. Found out today it was made in 1994 . So not 4 yrs old, but 5 Still better than 10.
Half price and half the age.

Fuzzy Math:confused:

1994 to 2009 is 5 years?

That blade and blower look to be in great condition, nice find.

The age of equipment is probably the least important consideration when I am shopping for implements, much more concerned with the quality and condition.

I'm going to have to side with Kenny on the math on this one. Perhaps you meant 2004?

We trust that you can do both very well indeed, but perhaps not at the same time on some days..... :D I sure have that problem anyway. It is strange how we can look at something over, and over, and still not see it.

I think you got a great deal on that equipment, and it sure looks like it is in good shape. It has been difficult in times past to get such a good deal this time of year!

I just purchased a 47" snowblower that came off a 2520 with all attachment brackets and quick attach system. This unit has less than 2 hours use and looks like new. The previous owner kept it waxed and it is beautiful. I paid $2500 and no tax. I think I got a great deal.

Yes we do get snow lots of years my drive looks like yours and worse we have had our share of 18"-42" snows at one time. More than I can to remember.I've come home many evenings and plowed 8-10" snow and do the same thing every night for a week or more .So yes we do get the snow

We live where we get the lake effects snows

Opps, I missed the W in West Virginia. I agree, WV is a nice part of the country and I know you guys get more snow, so ignore my comment! :(

There is one difference between the snow there and here. When the snow comes here in late November, it stays until April. On average there are 48 days a year when the temperature falls below zero, and we average only 5 days above 90 each year. I believe this year we had 2 90+ days.
