1050 will not start

Went to start my 1050 yesterday. It started for a minute, and was running very rough, and stalled.
Now, she'll crank, puff smoke while cranking, but will not start.
Thoughts on things to try? Already put in fresh fuel in case there was any contamination.

Fuel filter? maybe water crept in...

you say "fresh fuel", meaning you drained the old fuel out or just added more?

Using any additive for the diesel fuel ?

I'll suggest to check for good fuel flow from fuel tank to fuel inj pump. Check to determine if fuel tank is venting.

Ice in the secondary filter? Pre-heater working ? Can you try to push start it ?
