Try jumping the Terminals on the Ammeter (or Amp Meter) It is quite often part of the Starter Solenoid circuit.. Other than that corroded ground connection would be next bet...

I'm having a similar problem on my 4300. I was driving across the field when the tractor died as if a safety switch had been disconnected. The tractor will not turn over at all.I am getting a click on the K-6 relay when I turn the key to the start position. Please advise. This tractor is appox a 2000 HST 4300.
