I have noticed that my 3pt hitch will sag a bit and return to position (i don't notice the sag as much as the abrupt return to position) during normal operation under normal throttle. Thoughts on what could be causing this? I have a power beyond plumbed in to the system.
Have a Country Manufacturing 2 - ton trailer on the way. I agonized over size but went with the larger one. Will pull it behind my 3320 but also want to pull it with my kubota b5200. My 3320 has the appropriate hydraulics but would like to add the ability to dump the trailer with the Kubota...
Probably not the best time of year here in the north east but I was able to find a used 448 with the proper tractor mounting plates. Picture is as mounted at the dealer - had them take delivery of the backhoe and install the plates. I am very excited but will be removing the backhoe and...
Can I safely handle a JD 350 with 7' blade on my 3320? I would use it to mow some difficult to reach areas around my driveway etc. Found a used one on CL that I am considering. Any experience would be helpful. Thank You!
In the market for a used backhoe attachment for my 3320. Are there specific issues (or general thoughts for that matter) I should look out for related to the 448 or 485 models? Thank you!
I am getting tired of shoveling out of my truck bed into my loader. Have already put a kink in one side of the bed from hitting it with the loader arms. Thinking a better approach would be a smaller width bucket. Anyone use a 49" ish bucket on a 300cx - if so where did you get it and does it...
Had a cylinder pop and start spraying fluid. Looks like a bolt let go on the rods along the cylinder. Can I just retighten or do I need to take this to a shop? Thank you - Dana
Well it still needs some paint. I blatantly copied Cocre's design (and got lots of other help from people on these forums) and with significant help from my neighbor, have completed a two valve addition to my tractor. Prince stackable valves from surplus center. Had a local welder weld up the...
There are a number of o rings that I need to keep in their respective spots as I bolt the pieces together. Any suggestions on what I can use to keep them in place ? Anything else I should be aware of as I do this? Thank you - Dana
Interested in opinions regarding 2 link vs general ladder chains. Have r4 tires and will be used on pavement so no vbar etc. Will be using on a hill so it seems obvious but reason I ask is that the 2 link is twice the cost... I assume general ladder will do less damage but also provide less...
I forgot to put the pins in the bottom of the jdqa holder and sort of snapped off the grapple. Was lazy and didn't get off and forgot. Completely stupid... Nothing seemed to bend but I noticed the two dump cylinders were moving at different rates when i went to reattach the grapple. Finally...
Anyone use a landscape design software and have any commentary on ease of use/likes dislikes etc? Would be great if I can input gps readings/preexisting topographical maps and it appears some packages have that option. Curious if it is worth the extra money? Thank you - Dana
Looking for a working used 3 pt hitch 60" or larger snowblower that is rated for a 25hp pto within reasonable driving distance of zip 19425. Cash in hand.
I have been searching all over the place on the forum for an answer to this. I have a jd ballast box with extension and wonder how many bags of portland cement people have got it to hold? I got in five 94 pound bags in the box portion and wonder if I am doing something wrong? I was expecting...
I recently purchased a used bush hog sq600 which came with a swinging toplink connection that allows the mower to float. It will not stay in the imatch hook so I cannot lift the rear tire off the ground. I have been doing a bit of reading on tbn and one solution is to replace the angled...
I have been looking at used rotary cutters. Have come across a couple of options but they have the rubber strip as opposed to chains. Chains are pricy so I wouldn't want them either if I don't need them. I am most concerned about safety - this thing will be for woods use (rocks and all kinds...
Just received my Gator Toothbar. Went to attach to my bucket and found that the teeth do not slide under the bottom of the bucket very far, leaving what looks to be quite a bit more room to slide on. I cannot move it any further and figured before I push it against something to see if it will...
Looking for a ballast box, pallet forks, tooth bar, bush hog, backhoe- if you live in the southeasten pa area and are selling any of these or other attachments that might fit my tractor, i might be interested so please let me know. - Dana
I am trying to determine the "best" spool valve to use to add a few hydraulic outlets to the rear of my tractor. I have the JD power beyond kit on my tractor already and would like to make use of it. I have done a bit of reading but am still confused as to what my options are and why I would...
This is sort of a rethread of an old thread from another area but there were no responses so I figured I would try in this section. I have talked to a couple of JD people and there seems to be a lot of confusion around this.
I have seen a couple of 48 backhoes on CL and was curious. I stopped...
I am in the market for a rear blade. I plan to use it primarily for snow removal but probably also some grading work. I have read numerous threads (including the merits of front vs rear blade) but still am undecided about size and weight. I think I will be fine with a rear blade as we...
Heading into winter and I want to prepare my fuel. Additionally, beyond the winter blend of diesel, I need some clarification as to what makes the most sense, both for the winter and just generally. I have read a good bit and it seems that Power Service is the prefered brand. Took a look at...
I have installed a hydraulic top link (CCM version cylindar). I was able to use one "elbow" but could not get two to fit due to the limited spacing between the hydraulic "holes" (quite technical speak...) so the one furthest away is straight up. BTW - this leaked like crazy when I first hooked...
Getting a W.R. valve installed this week in preparation for a grapple of some sort. Have bee doing a ton of reading on the subject- what I would like is a combo rock bottom(for smaller to medium size rocks-rock I want to sift out) with grapple that would be light enough to remain effective on...
This may be very common but could not find any threads speaking to this and being a tractor newbie this was quite an experience. I was trying to lift a log and all of a sudden I heard a hissing sound and was instantly covered in hydraulic fluid. The rubber hydraulic line which controls one of...
Having just purchased a new to me john deere 3320, I am now in the market for some implements. Would consider a light duty grapple, 3pt hitch snowblower, bush hog, pto chipper or pto debris blower. I live about 45 minutes west of Philly and would be willing to drive a reasonable distance for...
First i want to thank everyone on this site for all the great information - i am nearing divorce (not really but the wife has some serious concerns at this point -laugh!) having spent so much time over the past year or so first researching tractors (I am the proud new owner for about a month of...
Looking to provide a good home to a used "premium" B series Kubota, 3320, 4310 etc JD with hydro or "DA" model NH in the 26 to 35 HP range. Need's to have a loader and preferably a backhoe. Other implements considered as well. Would like service records. PM me or call me at 610-805-1131. - Dana
