Yes, that is a problem, #39 has a cam on the end of it and #41 must be allowed to turn freely on it.

For what it is worth, this is the compression specs for the YM220/222. A little larger than yours but I feel it would be real close to your 186. Specified pressure 568 to 639 psi. Lower limit 426 psi.

Fuel would not come out forcefully with line all the way off. injectors can sometimes be hard to pull and sometimes not. You could swap injectors and see what happens.

You have two control levers for the 3 point lift. One that raises and lowers, the other is for draft control. Have you tried moving the draft control lever to different positions to see if it effects anything? I remember my old 2002d was effected in some way, just can't remember just how.

Might consider swapping hoses from lift to dump and see what happens. That should identify hose problems verses valve problems as same hoses will be on the lift and dump but working on different side of control valve. Hope that makes sense.

Do you have any quick disconnects on your loader hydraulics. If so, check them out to make sure they are plugged in all the way.

Tank return has flow only when valve is actuated. Other times the flow goes thru the power beyond hose and thru the 3 point. Having said that, yes there is hydraulic flow any time the engine is turning.

When turning the key to the left for activating the themostart the red light on the dash would come on indicating the themostart was working. The little box then automatically turned off the thermostart and red light. Just how is did that is a mystery to me.

I can tell you the ym240 top speed is 9.1mph. Research could probably give info on other models. I believe the 2210 is 10.9mph. 2310 is 9.73mph.

No filter but it does have a cleanable strainer. I believe you will find it right under the pto shaft behind a 3 bolt flange.

If you have ac charging voltage going into the regulator then the dynamo is working. If you have dc charging voltage coming out of the regulator then it is working. No charging voltage then not working.

The Dyno puts out ac voltage, the rectifier/regulator changes is to dc voltage. His 15 to 27 volts is ac before the rectifier/regulator.

Unplug your dynamo and use a voltmeter turned to ac voltage and touch the leads to the two wires coming off your dynamo. Rpms will effect output, could be anywhere from 15 to 30 ac volts depending on rpm. That should tell you whether your dynamo is good or not. Dynamos give very little trouble...

I believe the little black item is a vent canister for the brake housing. I think if you trace the hoses that is where they will go. I also believe they do not vent the transmission cavity. I also believe the return adapter that Hoye used to sell was made to screw into the dip stick hole.

Looks good. If there was some way to put a 90 degree ell in your adapter to force the flow down it would probably eliminate fluid coming out of the vent. Or maybe a baffle in there to force the flow downward. Just talking. :D

Valve cover gasket has nothing to do with blow by or starting, only seals oil from running out. Any blow by is coming from crankcase and that is the smoke you are seeing when valve cover is off.

That is engine blowby. I suspect if you have it running your vent tube will be blowing pretty hard. Similar to this.

Post #17 in this thread is showing a page out of the I & T manual covering the YM240. Paragraph 252 is showing on the attachment in post #17. My old 2002D had a completely different setup, however, one of the relief valves does use the same part number shims.

It does come up as an o-ring one time but mostly as a bolt. That part number is out of the John Deere 850 parts manual. The John Deere 850 and Yanmar 2500 pretty much share the same engine. No warranty on my part that it is correct is my feeling is is correct.

It is not inside the line. It was installed in the divider block, worked it's way loose, but still inside the divider block and allowing flow to go straight to the 3 point.

Both rear wheels will spin if differential lock is pressed. If not, wheel with least resistance will spin. Front wheels will both spin if on equal traction, if not, the one with least resistance will.

If engine is not turning over then that is the number 1 issue. As Carey said, make sure the starter is good and if so your engine must be locked up. Probably hard to do but you could try turning the engine with a socket and ratchet. I am thinking it is a 46mm socket size.

I don't understand how an injector line could be stopped up. Are you talking about the steel line from the injector pump to the injector being stopped up? If I am understanding correctly you are saying the engine will not turn over now with a new starter and good battery? Confirmation on that?

Power shift probably does add a little length.

The 1110 has a power shift transmission. All the others you listed are geared transmissions.

The 2000 and 226 both use the same sensor. The 226 manual states the red light comes on at 230F so according to Yanmar 230F at that location is to hot. Both tractor use a 13# radiator cap.

I can tell you Torque should be 29-33 ft lbs. No mention in repair manual of bolt size. Part number is 6697072.
