Ram vs Dodge/Chrysler - how complete is the separation?

Small displacement high HP/ TQ gas engines are here to stay and Im all for it. I was a "V8 or nothing" guy for years, until I drove the Ecoboost F-150's when they came out. Now I own one and it pulls my trailers far and away better than my older V8 F-150 could ever dream of and it hardly works...

They are all made under the Stelantis name, Ram is just a brand of it. They all use the same OEM's for parts and for assembly.

    Friend had a close call

Sure they do, some are more prone to it than others. Anyone with half a brain would check the hitch if they tow often as that is usually the first place to rust. Dont make excuses for poor maintenance and inspection, especially in the rust belt. She got lucky, could have dumped that trailer...

Stihl or Echo top handle saw?

The CC's dont determine pro or not, its about power to weight ratio where pro saws normally shine. Plus build quality and performance. The Stihl 194 is the closest in comparison to the Echo but to me felt clunky and much heavier than the 2511 and from guys Ive talked to that have run both...

What do you drive for a truck?

This is why everyone who plans to tow with their truck needs to know its capacities. At least on my F-150 its listed very clearly on the hitch what the hitch is rated for with and without a WDH. Then you need to stay within the hitch rating AND total payload of the truck. Pictures like that...

Why so much tongue weight on 22' car hauler trailers?

Its my understanding that the only way a "box store" can sell Stihl is that they have a Stihl trained service center. It used to be that same way with the pro Husqvarna stuff but now Im seeing them in the big box stores too along side their Poulan rebranded junk.
