DIY poor men's FEL brush cutter

I had a swisher brush cutter sitting in my barn. It is a good thing, but it is hard to use in tight places or where the brush is very thick. So, made some improvements. I had a patch 20x50 yards of really thick bushes which i did not had courage to approach. Today i did it!!! This is after...

    Top link and backhoe question

I have Branson 2515 with BH150 backhoe. It is a subframe model. The question is, when i attach the backhoe, should i extend the top link so it pushes on the backhoe or should i shorten it, so it pulls the BH towards the tractor. To keep it lose, the BH has too much play and jumps around, feels...

    Exposed Aggregate concrete help

Looking for an advise and TBN collective wisdom. I hired a concrete contractor to make me a patio with exposed aggregate concrete. The guy came, poured the concrete, sprayed the retarder, waited about 2 hours, washed and left. When he was leaving i asked them why there are so many spots covered...

Need favor from Branson 15 series owners

Hi guys. I was posting on the hydraulic forum about my backhoe BH150 problem with my 2022 2515R On the swing it starts real fast, then slows down, then jumps again slamming the tractor, I recorder it on idle RPM because on the 2000 it is so violent. Here is the forum...

    Backhoe problem

Need advise, Yesterday my backhoe started acting up. If i take the boom all the way to one side and then start turning it back, it goes 1/3 of the way, then stops for a second, then keeps going another 1/3, then hesitates again, then goes all the way to the end. Pretty much same thing with the...

    Parking brake indicator

I always, with no failure, forget to disengage my parking brake. It sooooo pisses me off, not because i forget to do so, but because it is one additional reminder of my age  In addition to a visual indicator i thought a loud noise would be helpful. It seemed that installing a buzzer in...

DIY Leaf rake and carry all

Was browsing for some metal at my local metal recycle place. Found some good size angles. for $0.30 per pound it was not a brainer. Ordered some baler teeth online. The Carry all come out much stronger than the store bought but i actually have no use for it besides attaching the rake. I...

    $35 Debris Forks

Tried my welding skills (not so good, haven't been welding for more than 45 years). But eventually it worked, i'm happy with the result. Got it right on the second try. On the first one of the cross bars got bent. Removed them and it seemed to work better.

    Backhoe pin hanger

On Branson tractors there are two pins used to secure the boom. I always was concerned to loose them. Came up with this little hanger. I bet there are better ways of doing it, but it was quick and easy.

Upgraded storage boxes for my 2515

My new Branson/TYM came with a really questionable storage box already installed. The bad: It is extremely flimsy and small, useless IMO. The good: It has a really sturdy bracket able to hold a huge load. Removed a pile of original garbage from the tractor (it is my opinion they are garbage...

    FEL stick conversion

I like to be able to get on/off the tractor from both sides, however there are some obstacles on 2515. 1. The FEL stich is on the way, let alone it is inconvenient for me to hold my right hand in this position dictated by the stick position, maybe it is just me. 2. There is no step, and jumping...
