My forks are well supported at the bottom so that's not an issue for me. I couldn't use them for the hitch ball if they weren't.

I mounted a towing ball near the tip of a pallet fork tine for shuttling trailers around the yard. Puts the ball about 3 feet further out from the tractor than on the bucket. Just don't submerge the front axle vent tube and the water shouldn't hurt anything.

To reinstall the diff rod you'll need a pair of clip pins like on the ends if the diff rod in this photo on my b2650. Or a couple of cotter pins in a pinch.

Warm up the tractor and do the oil and filter. Then put it away. The oil carries all kinds of contaminants of combustion and wear that are unhealthy to store in the engine over long periods. Freshly changed oil circulated through it and then put away for the winter is ideal.

My B2650 has no loaded tires (R4), or chains and have done lots of snow with the B2882B front blower and the loader does light earthwork just fine. That might change if your terrain is hillier/steeper.

Why not just get the 63" blower? Is it that much more? The 63" works great on my B2650.

A B2650HDDC with factory cab is over 88 inches = 7' 4" Obviously a rops version will go easily with it folded down.

The manifold gasket was perfectly fine, reused no problem. Just 4 studs to loosen, came off and went back on super easy. Not complicated at all. Simple.

I removed my whole exhaust assembly from the engine manifold to tailpipe, to facilitate better positioning for the weld repairs. I recall 4 studs to loosen, off she popped. Didn't discover the crack around the muffler outlet pipe until the pipe came off the engine.

Have you unbolted the exhaust pipe from the engine manifold? Checked the manifold gasket for issues? Made sure it's torqued down correctly?

Also when checking for leaks I could feel little exhaust "gusts" from the cracks simply by putting my hand (carefully) close to the area with potential leaks. These are pretty loud engines, sometimes easier to feel the leak than hear them.
