    L6060 Using Oil

I find the oil level can change on my tractor if it's parked on a different spot from when I last checked it, and the ground level has changed slightly even. and it can also very a little depending on if the engine is cold or hot when it is checked. Always compare your oil level checks on a...

LX2610 Tilt Steering Wheel - moves without hitting pedal

My B2650's tilt mechanism took a while to "loosen in" as I used it over the first year or so. It was also not holding 100%, and occasionally still pops out of position. I've gotten into the habit of lifting the floor lever a bit with my toe when setting it, and push and pull a bit on the...

Can I move my machine like this?

Yup, do it all the time on my B2650/BH77. Just watch that you're smooth and slow on the boom swing control if you use it to move a bit sideways, too. The side to side motion the boom swinging can impart amplifies the pressure on the lever, by body weight momentum, causing the sideways movement...

    Just bought my first tractor

Sime guys apply vacuum suction at the breather to slow or stop fluid loss when swapping filters, I heard a shop vac with some kind of adapter works. Backhoe or loader? I use my BH77 mech thumb regularly. Very useful especially for ripping out stumps, grabbing rocks. I've also gotten used to quickly adjusting it while remaining on the backhoe platform. In park or transport position just swing full to the right, brings the pin within reach.

What was your first Kubota and why?

Bought my first Kubota in December 2017 brand new. A B2650HSD and most of its attachments all at once, and about time after owning and living on this 119 acres of forests and fields since 1996. Some catching up to do! Now after 3 years of running it, and 470 hours in, I'm SO glad I got this...

    Used Kubota for the Long-term

The smaller non-dpf under 26hp 3 cyl Kubotas are, other than the lcd display, pretty much silicon free. They have been making their Super 05 series engines the for 15 or more years and still make them, which the B2650 D1305 engine is. No "engine" computer, no dpf.

I agree, and i reduce rpm when i can as it really helps. But when I've fully loaded a pallet crate of firewood to be close to the tractor's lift limit but still quite manoeuvrable the rpm has to be up there 2000+ to lift the loads. It's the easing into place control, or lack thereof, that i...

Kubota L35 TLB, Safe Level Front Wheel Immersion In Lake?

I mounted a towing ball near the tip of a pallet fork tine for shuttling trailers around the yard. Puts the ball about 3 feet further out from the tractor than on the bucket. Just don't submerge the front axle vent tube and the water shouldn't hurt anything.

How to Break In Reman Engine

Warm up the tractor and do the oil and filter. Then put it away. The oil carries all kinds of contaminants of combustion and wear that are unhealthy to store in the engine over long periods. Freshly changed oil circulated through it and then put away for the winter is ideal.
