Hi all,

I'm looking for a front snowblower for my B2650 cab. I realize the B2782B 63" version is a better match for my B2650, but wondering if anyone is running the 51" B2781B version and if it wide enough? I know the 51" is also recommended for the B2650, but I believe the width of the rear tires are close to 53".

Has anyone tried installing the drift cutters / wings on a B2781B...believe the extensions are part # B2786. Wondering if maybe these wings would add ~3" to each side making the total width of the B2781B around 57" and then it would work better.

Thanks!

Well, I did install wings on my rear blower after installing 2” spacers on the rear wheels, and it worked out OK.

Why not just get the 63" blower? Is it that much more? The 63" works great on my B2650.

I bought a used B3030 HSDC with the B2781 51 inch wide snowblower 3 years ago. Even though the tractor is slighty wider at the rear turf tires, it still seems to leave a clean edge when snowblowing. I clear my driveway, a parking area, and a wide part of my back yard and figure that I make two extra passes in the backyard since I have a 51" wide blower instead of the 63" blower. No big deal to me, just one more pass down and back. I do find myself liking the 51" blower for clearing around when the kids cars are parked in the yard.
